The 2026 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition celebrates six consecutive TCR Manufacturers' Championships in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series. This limited-production model brings race-bred components and aesthetics to public roads, offering enthusiasts a direct connection to Hyundai's motorsport success.

The Elantra N TCR Edition debuted at the LA Auto Show for the US market but arrived in Canadian dealerships earlier this year.

At its core, the Elantra N TCR Edition features a 2.0 L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque. Models equipped with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission gain access to N Grin Shift, temporarily boosting output to 286 horsepower. Transmission choice remains a defining feature—buyers can select between a 6-speed manual with rev-matching or the 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

Track-Inspired Components:

  • Carbon swan neck rear spoiler for enhanced aerodynamics
  • Lightweight 19-inch N TCR forged wheels
  • N Performance brake system with four-piston monoblock front calipers and two-piece front rotors
  • Alcantara interior package including steering wheel with 12 o'clock marker, gear knob, console armrest, and lever parking brake

Canadian buyers can choose from four exterior finishes: Abyss Black, Atlas White, Cyber Grey, and Performance Blue.

The 2026 IONIQ 6 N is Hyundai's most powerful electric performance vehicle to date. With dual motors generating 601 horsepower (641 horsepower with N Grin Boost), this electrified sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds using N Launch Control and reaches a top speed of approximately 257 km/h.

The front motor produces 223 horsepower while the rear motor delivers 378 horsepower. During boost mode, output increases to 235 horsepower front and 406 horsepower rear, with total torque reaching 568 lb-ft. The 84.0 kWh battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 18 minutes under optimal conditions with a 350 kW charger.

Advanced Performance Technologies:

The IONIQ 6 N introduces several innovations designed to enhance driver engagement in an electric vehicle platform:

  • N e-Shift: Simulates motorsport-inspired gear ratios to amplify responsiveness and connection to the vehicle
  • N Battery System: Optimised thermal management adapts to drag, sprint, or endurance scenarios with reduced conditioning time
  • N Drift Optimiser: Customisable drift parameters including initiation, angle, and wheel spin
  • N Active Sound +: Three selectable sound modes (Ignition, Evolution, Lightspeed) delivered through an enhanced Acoustic Design Processor
  • N Track Manager: Custom track creation, speed monitoring, real-time ghost-car visuals, and lap-time analysis

The suspension system features electronically controlled dampers and adaptive steering, while the braking system employs four-piston front calipers with 400 mm rotors and single-piston rear calipers with 360 mm rotors. Regenerative braking can deliver up to 0.6 G of deceleration.

The IONIQ 6 N measures 4,935 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a 2,965 mm wheelbase. Widened fenders and a swan neck rear wing contribute to both visual presence and aerodynamic stability. The vehicle rides on 20-inch forged wheels wrapped in 275/35R20 Pirelli P-Zero tires developed specifically for the IONIQ 6 N.

Inside, bucket seats upholstered in Alcantara suede and genuine leather provide support during spirited driving. The N Pasubio steering wheel features dedicated N1/N2 buttons for rapid mode selection, while Performance Blue accents throughout the black cabin reinforce the vehicle's sporting character. The N Ambient Shift Light provides visual cues for optimal shift points when using N e-Shift.

The CRATER Concept is Hyundai's vision for future XRT (Cross Terrain) models, combining rugged capability with modern design language. Developed at Hyundai America Technical Centre in California, this compact off-road SUV concept explores how adventure-focused vehicles might evolve within Hyundai's lineup.

Exterior Design Elements:

  • Steep approach and departure angles for off-road capability
  • 18-inch hexagonal faceted wheels with 33-inch off-road tires
  • Wide skid plate for underbody protection
  • Roof platform designed for auxiliary lighting and storage mounting
  • Limb risers (cables from front fenders to roof) for trail protection
  • Sheer fender design emphasising wide shoulders and planted stance

The CRATER Concept showcases Hyundai's "Art of Steel" design language, which transforms the material's strength and formability into sculptural surfaces and precise lines. Parametric pixel lighting creates a three-dimensional signature with layered depth, while auxiliary roof lights echo this gradient theme.

Interior design prioritises function-first flexibility for adventure seekers. One notable feature: a recovery hook that doubles as a bottle opener.
