2024 Hyundai Kona

2024 Hyundai Kona

The 2024 Hyundai Kona was introduced at the end of 2022 and although the current generation of the Kona will continue in 2023, Hyundai confirmed that the brand-new and completely redesigned version of its popular small SUV will arrive on the market at the end of 2023. Hyundai did not provide a lot of details on its upcoming 2024 Kona but did give us an indication of the different powertrains it would offer, the interior improvements we will see, and the new technologies that will make it more connected, more comfortable, and safer.

The 2024 Hyundai Kona has been completely redesigned and features a brand-new exterior that is more rounded than the current model. The new 2024 Kona will also be larger and will provide more interior space while the front-end gets a more distinct design highlighted by a single LED light bar in the front. The visual signature is unmistakable while the new shape should provide better cargo space and passenger space as well. Hyundai also confirmed that the interior would be fully redesigned and will feature two 12.3 inch displays like we have seen on recently introduced Hyundai models. The interior will provide a clean, uncluttered environment with plenty of storage space and the latest connectivity features. The first of the two screens will be a digital instrument cluster while the second will house the infotainment system which will include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Hyundai says the new Kona will return with many of the same powertrain options as the current generation that means that we will get a fully-electric Kona EV model, a gas-powered lineup that will likely feature an entry-level two-litre four-cylinder engine as well as an available turbocharged engine, and there will also be a new hybrid model as well. Hyundai did not provide further details on the new Kona in terms of specs and efficiency, but we expect improvements across the board over the already impressive Hyundai Kona.

As we wait for this new generation, discover the 2023 Hyundai Kona today. It delivers impressive versatility, fuel-efficient engines, and a long list of the features you want in your next SUV. Come see us today!
