How HTRAC All-Wheel Drive Can Help You

We all know that Canadian winters can be tough. With unpredictable weather conditions, you want a vehicle that can handle any road surface. With Hyundai, you won’t have to compromise capability for style. With Hyundai’s HTRAC All-Wheel Drive system, you’ll be able to conquer any weather condition in a Hyundai vehicle you’ll love to drive all year round.

What is HTRAC All-Wheel Drive?

HTRAC All-Wheel Drive lets you drive with ease, confidence and control in any weather condition. This system distributes power and traction to where you need it most, based on road conditions. Thanks to multiple input signals, your Hyundai will constantly be monitoring its traction at a process of over 100 times per second.

Best of all, HTRAC All-Wheel Drive provides you with improved control on multiple terrain types. With the drive mode selector dial, you can switch to the terrain type most suitable for you. You can select from the following terrain modes:

  • Sand
  • Mud
  • Snow

You can also select different drive modes to provide you with different driving experiences. If you’re looking to conserve fuel during a longer road trip, you can switch to Eco mode, delivering less torque during acceleration to conserve fuel. If you’re looking for a more exhilarating drive, you can switch to Sport mode. Comfort mode provides a more balanced drive experience of quicker acceleration time, but with improved fuel economy.
