Appearances are Everything

The new Elantra N Line’s already wild exterior styling looks fantastic, but the added N-Line touches make it look just the right amount of aggressive. Some of the main features you’ll notice are the cascading front grille that is punctuated with the “N Line” badge, and a redesigned lower front bumper that incorporates new air intakes to give your ride a sleeker, more stylish look. Also adding to the sporty feel are the standard two-tone 18-inch N Line wheels, and the subtle side skirts, window trim, and mirror caps all finished in gloss black. The black spoiler and full-width diffuser also emphasize the car’s athletic stance, along with the twin tailpipes that are clustered together on the right side.

The inside offers just as much sport aesthetic as the exterior. Fabric sport seats with leather bolsters, as well as a special N steering wheel, N shifter, and alloy pedals take your ride from looking like a city sedan to a sporty sleek sports car at a single glance. Other key features you’ll love include: a gearshift with metal accents and leather inserts, race inspired instruments–such as the redline with a checkered flag motif on the tachometer–and a number of tech features for both infotainment and safety.

Tech Tools

For all of your infotainment needs, you’ll find the Elantra N Line comes standard with an 8” colour touch-screen display, standard Bluetooth and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, seamless smartphone connectivity that is wireless for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines. Some of the upgraded tech features you can opt for include: Drive Mode Select–a quick and easy way to change the driving style of your Hyundai, including settings for Normal, Eco, and Sport; BlueLink connected vehicle system, with a mobile app that allows the customer to remotely start, stop, lock or unlock their vehicle; and you can also choose the 10.25” touchscreen display and digital cluster, as well as a Bose premium audio system, including 8 speakers throughout the cabin.

Performance and Powertrain

You’ll find that power will never be something you’re short of in your 2021 Hyundai Elantra N Line. If you pop the hood you’ll be met with a turbocharged 1.6-litre, four-cylinder engine that produces 201 horsepower and 195.2 lb.-ft. torque. The engine sends drive to the front wheels through either the standard six-speed manual transmission or through the available quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic unit with paddle shifters and selectable drive modes. Hyundai has also mentioned that its engineers have implemented several mechanical improvements to Elantra’s suspension to increase stiffness for a gripping performance, and all N Line models also get larger front brake rotors for slightly improved braking performance. Another feature you’ll love is the multi-link rear suspension that replaces the old torsion-beam type. Hyundai has also alluded to a hybrid model coming soon, that promises 50 mpg combined.
