The aesthetic upgrades continue inside the 2022 Kona as well. Hyundai uses quality interior materials to provide an appealing, refined interior. Hyundai also designed the interior space with passenger ergonomics in mind, so that all passengers can enjoy the drive comfortably.

One of our favourite new features is the available 10.25” high-definition touchscreen. It’s equipped with a colourful interface that includes a 3-way split screen view and built-in navigation. If you decide not to opt for the high-definition screen, you can still enjoy the standard 8” infotainment touchscreen.
Another notable feature is the available 10.25” fully digital instrument cluster. Its modern interface is built with a high-resolution colour screen that clearly displays your vehicle’s information behind the steering wheel. Other available convenience features include push-button start, rain-sensing automatic wipers and the Harman Audio premium sound system.
Finally, the Kona is available with Head-Up Display: a feature that projects important vehicle information in your line of sight. You’ll have quick access to information like speed, navigation commands and safety warnings, thanks to the Head-Up Display.
The 2022 Hyundai Kona comes standard with a 2.0L MPI 4-cylinder engine and Intelligent Variable Transmission (automatic). This engine combo provides you with 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque.
If you’re looking for more of a kick behind the wheel, you can opt for the available 1.6L GDI 4-cylinder engine with 7-speed Dual-Clutch transmission. With this engine option, you’ll get an output of 195 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque.
To receive the best handling, traction and cornering performance, you can opt for the Kona’s available all-wheel drive system. It monitors both driver input and road conditions and automatically applies power and braking force to the appropriate wheels to maintain control on any road surface.
